What is H@<K?
H@<K (Pronounced "Hack") is a story I have been tirelessly working on for the past half a decade - around 6 years at the time of writing this.

What does this project encompass?
H@<K is a Fantasy/Solar-Post-Cyberpunk/Sci-Fi story that spans across roughly 24 story arcs with 2 worlds, 5 main characters, and 100's of side characters, all of which will be meticulously built out.
It is a story that I will turn into a webcomic, once I have the plot fully built out.
There are many things I am doing/planning to do (all on my own) that will all result in the eventual release of my webcomic:

Plotbuilding - I've written about 500k words in my plotbuilding doc, but I've got lots more to develop.

6 Fully Animated Trailers - storyboarding, animating, making the music, making the voice acting with Synthezier V, compiling the trailer, and adding sound effects

Maybe some 3D modeling for environments

2D asset creation

Making the artbook for worldbuilding so that I can sell it with the comic volumes eventually creating the backlog for the comics so when I post it online once every week or two

Make and sell merch such as stickers, pins, prints, shirts, stands, etc. (Maybe even 3D figurines of some characters)

Once I publish the comic online, I plan to print physical copies to be sold and bundled with my artbook, and/or other future volumes.
All that combined may take up to 10 years before I can post my comic online... which is why it is still an ongoing project.

How did this project come about?
Oh boy! Where do I start?
Ever since I was little, I've always loved creating characters and creating worlds around them.
Now, back around 2015/2016 I started creating and selling my own stickers. I took an Ethical Hacking class Winter of 2017 and a fellow student commissioned me to create a "Hacker Set".
I created a set of 15 characters based off of popular hacking programs like Wireshark, Aircrack-ng, Social Engineering Toolkit, THC Hydra, etc.
Around then, I also took a creative writing class and wrote a short story about Hydra (who became one of my main characters) and it just took off from there. I originally had dozens of other random story ideas. There were about 5 story ideas, including Hydra's which had a similar futuristic setting and tried combining them all into one story and thus, H@<K was born!
In 2019, my art suddenly got better, and I wanted a website.
I started learning how to code websites so that I could code my own website since the existing solutions on the internet did not offer the flexibility that I needed.
This is the first website I've ever coded and it looks exactly the way that I want it to and I'm super proud of it:

Overall Plot
Chaos brews as the Frabjous day nears.
Two worlds, one physical, and one digital, grow evermore intertwined.
Even with an otherworldly adversary, the two worlds dabble in a battle for power as trouble and tensions brew.
Joined by a happy go lucky freedom fighter, a sheltered rich girl, and the leader of a small rebel group, Maxus, the leader of the Hacktectives, stumbles upon a rabbit hole of conspiracies relating to the kidnappings of low-level ability users.
A mysterious group called the Circle of 13’s, aided by a bio engineered assassin appear to be behind it.
The clock ticks as Maxus realizes: this conspiracy is bigger than anything than they all could have ever imagined.
One thing is for sure though. nothing is as it seems.
Maxus's Plot
When Maxus, leader of the Hacktectives, stumbles upon a sinister plot, with what seems to be the government as its mastermind, She is determined to expose their wrongdoings for all to see, fighting both for the citizens of the physical world, as well as the digital world.
However, the deeper she looks, the more danger she finds herself in.
With new enemies at every turn, it will take all she's got to protect her siblings and friends.
Hydra's Plot
Hydra, a boy with the title of "The Wind of Freedom Wings" is brought back on to the front lines again after years of peace and quiet as kidnapping cases rise sharply in the Digital world of Zionix.
On the surface, these cases converge and things look bleak as all the hints lead back to an old enemy, as well as to the Gov of Atlantis, whose presence in the digital world is expanding quickly - but underneath, something far more sinister going on.
To save his city - and his world - he is determined to find out what it is - even if it means forming unlikely alliances.
Mouse's Plot
Mouse was left for dead in the deep web after leading her rebel group, Turquoise Fire in a failed revolt against the gov for taking her older sister away.
With the whole gang stuck in the deep web, their only hope is to code their way up to the main land of the digital world.
She is more determined than ever to lead her team back up to the top and take her sister back from the clutches of the gov even if it means doing the unspeakable.
Alis's Plot
Alis, a sheltered rich girl, along with her best friend, Cheshire, a cat boy, venture into the digital world for the first time, looking for her missing father while traversing through the unknown terrain of Hackerland, the portal into the digital world nearest to her home location.
Here, she encounters many firsts.
Her first fight, first love, and most important of all, she learns for the first time, what her father's true identity is.
Mal's Plot
Mal is a bio engineered weapon who seeks to destroy all who oppose the gov.
She soon finds herself entangled in a web of lies and finds out that she knows less about herself than she thinks she knows.
Then there’s Mouse, who shows up in her memories, though she can’t remember who she is, thwarting her solid belief in the gov.
She starts to doubt her identity and existence and soon sets out to find out about her past and how she came to be.
